Here is a postcard I made and sent to the producers of “Get Shorty”
I had done 2 episodes on season 1 and they were getting ready to shoot season 2. So I put this clever postcard together and sent it to all the people who make the decisions.
I’ve always done things like this throughout my career. Some of them work and some of them don’t, but people don’t forget the effort you made, and how creative you are. It also shows that you are being proactive with your career and not just waiting for the phone to ring.

Unfortunately the story went away from the studio where I was the guard at the gate… However, I made a fan of the showrunner and one of the executive producers and they booked for 5 episodes on another show later the next year on Apple TV Plus called “For All Mankind” So, it worked out pretty good.
